Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a QA Analyst III for a Hybrid position with a Leading Technology Firm located in Menlo Park, CA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. As a QA Contractor, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality by executing and improving test processes, collaborating with engineering and QA leads, and supporting the delivery of high-quality features. This role is designed for individuals who can operate independently, contribute to test strategy, and take ownership of execution within defined scopes. This position requires 3 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities: - Execute and maintain manual and automated test cases for new and existing features
- Reproduce, document, and triage bugs; work closely with engineering to drive resolution
- Write and maintain clear, comprehensive test cases and test plans
- Support QA leads in driving test strategy and test plan creation
- Create and maintain dashboards to track quality metrics and test progress
- Conduct Product Audits with QA leads guidance to analyze/improve QA test coverage
- Conduct Bug Audits with QA leads guidance to analyse/identify product areas that need improvement
- Provide Release readiness support for Medium/small size features
- Lead test execution for small to medium-sized projects or features
- Attend status meetings and represent QA in the absence of QA leads
- Work onsite as needed to collaborate directly with engineering and QA teams, ensuring product rigor
- Support stealth projects which require a higher level of diligence in execution
- Run and lead testing techniques like benchmarking testing, battery testing, performance testing
Requirements: - 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience writing and executing test cases and test plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working onsite and engaging directly with cross-functional teams
Desired skills: - Experience with dashboarding tools and quality metrics is a plus
- Familiarity with python, javascript, SQL
Pay range: up to $68.87 per hour
