Role Overview
This organization is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to guide the development of a new mobile application product. The role involves leading Business Analysts, engineers, and developers to build a new product version for a mobile platform. The ideal candidate will work with multiple teams to clarify responsibilities, anticipate obstacles, and keep priorities moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver digital products with agile teams, including discovering and documenting requirements.
- Work with data scientists and data engineers to identify, define, test, iterate, and ship products powered by machine learning and GenAI.
- Engage with a technical platform driven by events-based architecture and scalable data models.
- Write and contribute to technical specifications for software systems and adapt to internal documentation toolkits.
- Own end-to-end requirements definition, producing functional specifications for engineering execution.
- Work with stakeholders to emphasize product thinking and decision-making discipline.
- Lead internal and external partner engagement, from technical diligence to execution and change management.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. A background in a technical, HCI/HF/CS, or other analytical field is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 8 years of firsthand experience defining and delivering digital products with agile scrum teams is required. This must include experience with products powered by machine learning and GenAI.
Technical Skills:- Ability to query a database and translate technical tradeoffs for any audience.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence for planning, documentation, tracking, and deployments.
- Ability to successfully integrate GenAI / LLM tooling into professional workflows.
- Competence in debating architecture with engineers and partnering on schema/API design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience launching products in highly regulated domains such as payroll, tax, HR, fintech, or healthcare.
- A track record of mentoring and developing PM, UXR, or design peers.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $60.00 and $64.00 per hour. The salary for the permanent position is between $180,000.00 and $200,000.00 annually. A benefits package is available to eligible employees.
