Position : Project Manager

Location : Remote

Duration : Long term contract

Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Project Manager to lead and manage IT projects, ensuring successful delivery through effective planning, execution, and coordination. The Project Manager will be responsible for establishing project management standards, maintaining an enterprise project portfolio, and coordinating activities across various organizational functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage IT projects, including defining project scope, tracking progress, and providing status reports.
- Establish and maintain project management standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Develop a comprehensive project repository to enhance resource estimation for future IT projects.
- Maintain an enterprise project portfolio containing multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct requirements management, including gathering, analyzing, organizing, and reporting requirements.
- Document new developments, including creating user guides, systems guides, and other necessary documentation.
- Coordinate activities across different organizational functions to ensure project success.

Required Skills/Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders and development teams.
- Ability to collaborate with senior management, project managers, business analysts, architects, QA teams, and developers.
- Knowledge of PMI standards and processes, with a proven track record of managing IT projects.
- Proficiency in using project management and work management tools such as Azure DevOps and Git.
- Experience in Information Technology Project Management, with a preference for experience in K-12 education.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Familiarity with software and database development concepts, including test cases, quality assurance, and creating diagrams, flowcharts, and workflows.
- Ability to translate and simplify requirements from stakeholders into written requirement documents for the development team, including formal requirements documents, functional and technical design documents, technical use cases, user stories, business cases, requirements traceability matrix, and test cases.
- Experience in managing enterprise-wide projects through all phases of the project life cycle and/or software development life cycle.
- Strong experience in mapping business processes into technical documentation.
- Strong experience in developing business cases, benefit analysis, and identifying risks.

Preferred Experience:
- Project Management Certification in Scrum.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Experience with WebLogic.
