Technical Skills
Strong expertise in SAP BW on HANA, BW/4HANA, native HANA modeling and PaPM(Porfitability & Performance Management).
Experience with ABAP for BW routines (BADIs, AMDP preferred).
Deep understanding of LSA++, ADSO layers, Composite Providers, and Open ODS.
Working knowledge of S/4HANA embedded analytics, CDS views, and OData services.
Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud, BOBJ, Power BI (preferred) - Added advantage.
1. Solution Design & Architecture
Design endtoend SAP BW/BW4HANA data architectures aligned with business and IT strategy.
Develop data models, LSA++ architecture, and data acquisition frameworks using SAP best practices.
Architect solutions involving SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP BTP, and nonSAP source systems.
Define data flows using ETL/ELT, Open ODS Views, Composite Providers, ADSOs, HANA alculation views,
Stored procedures, AFO templates, ABAP and PAPM development.
2. Implementation & Development
Lead the implementation of BW objects, transformations, DTPs, OHD, InfoProviders, Compositeproviders, BeXQueries,
process chains/variants.
Oversee data ingestion using SAP tools: ODP, SLT, BODS, SDA, or thirdparty interfaces, AFO, PaPM.
Review technical designs and guide development teams on performance tuning and modeling standards.
Experience on PAPM Model development - configure source/receiver, consume sender/receiver CVs, CDS views,
model tables, table views, configure required joins, unions, rules,
allocation steps based on the sender/receiver/master/driver information, setup Writer/RFA functions).
Experience handling performance/partitioning setup in PAPM.
3. Data Strategy & Governance
Establish guidelines for data quality, lineage, documentation, and metadata management.
Ensure models comply with corporate governance, regulatory, and security requirements.
Drive simplification and modernization of legacy BW systems into BW/4HANA environments.
Experience on Solman(Charm), Jira, Sprint/Scrum/CAB calls management.
4. Performance Optimization
Conduct performance tuning of queries, HANA models, data loads, PAPM and process chains.
Implement strategies for improving system performance, storage optimization, and data lifecycle management.
SQL knowledge skills to query, subquery, join, union various Hana tables/views. Exposure to export/import data via backend(Hana/SQL).
