Role Overview
An experienced Senior Business Reporting Analyst is sought to join a Business Management Office (BMO). This role will support the Office of the CIO by reinforcing the existing team with leadership and delivery of routine deliverables while identifying efficiency gains to scale operations. The ideal candidate will work with Technology teams and stakeholder groups to deliver operational reporting and improve underlying reporting structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage business analysis efforts for the Technology department.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review, create, and enhance report requests, ensuring alignment with existing data and streamlining delivery.
- Facilitate meetings, presentations, and updates for senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Provide support and oversight to junior team members and assist as a lead when required.
- Perform data validation and troubleshoot reporting anomalies.
- Act as a point of contact for the BMO, providing service to internal stakeholders.
- Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and system configurations.
- Create new business processes and continuously improve existing reports and methodologies.
- Communicate key messages from data to various Technology leaders.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in financial analysis within the banking or financial services sector is required. The candidate must have a background in both Finance and Operations.
Technical Skills: A strong background in Tableau and PowerBI is required, along with familiarity with ServiceNow.
Skills:- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong data analysis and report creation abilities, with a talent for synthesizing data into key messages.
- Ability to lead and coach team members.
- Critical thinking with strong organizational skills and a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent efforts while ensuring on-time delivery.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
