This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, frequent use of command-line tools, and close collaboration with both internal engineering teams and external vendors, including participating in technical calls with vendor engineers. You'll handle lifecycle management tasks such as decommissioning, respond to incident tickets, and participate in a weekly on-call rotation every seven weeks, supported by a dedicated offshore Tier 1 team that filters most after-hours requests. Flexibility is built into the schedule to balance any off-hours calls, which typically average only a few per week. The position includes regular team meetings, cross-functional discussions with engineering, and occasional involvement in lift-and-shift initiatives, where cloud experience is a valuable plus.
