Project description

• We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to support and enhance secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments.
• The role focuses on cloud operations, governance, automation, security, monitoring, networking, and CI/CD while ensuring alignment with enterprise and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and administer enterprise cloud environments and services.
• Implement cloud governance, security controls, access management, tagging, guardrails, SCPs, and cost-management practices.
• Identify vulnerabilities and support security risk mitigation.
• Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and operational activities.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure and automated deployments.
• Monitor cloud performance, availability, capacity, and resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and networking issues.
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and cloud reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to continuously improve cloud environments.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 4+ years of recent experience in Cloud IT Operations or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Advanced experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on scripting and automation experience using Python and/or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, monitoring, security, access controls, governance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise cloud environments.
• Experience using AI tools for cloud automation, operational analysis, troubleshooting, and efficiency improvements.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments, particularly healthcare.
