Role: Senior Software Engineer Systems & Integration (MDM)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in systems software, application integration, troubleshooting, performance analysis, and enterprise technologies. The ideal candidate will lead technical activities across requirements, design, integration, testing, cutover, and stabilization while collaborating with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution for requirements, design, integration, testing, cutover, and stabilization activities.
• Create scripts, alerts, and dashboards to automate operational tasks, improve system visibility, and enable proactive issue detection.
• Design and implement complex software components and services, including thread models, resource lifecycles, and failure-handling mechanisms.
• Define subsystem interfaces and integration strategies; produce sequence diagrams and state models while enforcing versioning standards.
• Review and approve designs and source code for correctness, quality, and resilience; establish quality gates for acceptance.
• Guide validation strategies, including stress, endurance, and fault-injection testing, and define pass/fail criteria.
• Assess technical risks, propose mitigation strategies, and maintain a subsystem risk register.
• Lead small feature areas or technical initiatives, coordinate tasks, track progress, and report outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required: 4-year degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.

• Required: 5+ years of related experience.
• Preferred:
  • 5+ years of experience troubleshooting complex applications, interfaces, data quality, and performance issues in software environments.
  • 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional project teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver software changes.

• Ability to analyze performance, reliability, and resource-utilization issues in system code.
• Ability to influence technical implementation decisions within a project team.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with hardware, platform, and application teams.
• Strong knowledge of hardware-software interactions and platform constraints.
• Knowledge of operating systems, runtime environments, and embedded systems architectures.
• Strong skills in designing and implementing moderately complex systems software components.
• Ability to estimate development effort and technical complexity for system features.
• Ability to collaborate across technical teams to analyze software issues, evaluate implementation options, and support practical design decisions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Experience reviewing vendor-provided source code, test results, and system data to validate quality, accuracy, and compliance with technical requirements.
• Advanced SQL skills for troubleshooting issues, analyzing system performance, monitoring data quality, identifying operational trends, and investigating exception patterns.
