Job Title: Principal Full-Stack Systems Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking a Principal Full-Stack Systems Engineer who operates with genuine, end-to-end technical depth. You will be the technical lead for our web platform, responsible for designing and maintaining high-performance solutions that bridge the presentation layer, the application services layer, and the complex data layer.
This is not a "UI-first" or "Back-end-only" role. We are looking for an engineer who is equally comfortable optimizing a React component's render cycle, architecting a scalable microservice in Node.js, and modeling complex relationships in graph and NoSQL databases. If you are an architect-level developer who writes clean code, manages serverless infrastructure, and mentors junior talent to raise the bar for the entire team, this is the environment you've been looking for.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Stack Architecture & Development
End-to-End Ownership: Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-scale web applications. Own the full stack-from front-end state management to back-end API architecture and data persistence.
Service Orchestration: Build and implement robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Architect microservices that are performant, secure, and easily maintainable.
Infrastructure Integration: Implement and manage serverless architectures and containerized solutions in public cloud environments (AWS/Azure). Ensure our applications are built for high availability and elastic scalability.
Data Engineering & Technical Leadership
Data Modeling: Design complex schemas for both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL/Graph) databases. Optimize queries and data structures to support highly complex relationship-based data.
Technical Mentorship: Drive excellence in our development culture. Lead design reviews, perform rigorous code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to help junior developers grow.
Innovation & Best Practices: Participate in high-level architectural planning. Stay at the forefront of the industry, integrating modern best practices for performance, security, and developer efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Experience Baseline: Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in React.js, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
Cloud Infrastructure: Proven ability to build on cloud-native platforms, specifically using serverless compute and container orchestration.
Data Layer Expertise: Extensive experience designing with SQL, NoSQL, and Graph-based data models.
Communication: Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution; you can explain the "why" behind your architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Attributes
Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies, such as AI/Copilot integration and prompt engineering.
Experience with TypeScript and robust testing frameworks (Jest/React Testing Library).
A track record of delivering "from-scratch" platforms that are documented, performant, and maintainable.
