Position: System Administrator
Location: Downtown Houston, TX
Duration: 12 Months

Required Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
* Strong understanding of server infrastructure, including Windows and Linux operating systems.
* Proficiency in network configuration and management, including firewall administration.
* Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization technologies.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
* Solid knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Proactive and self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
* Experience in vendor management, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with third-party vendors.
* Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects.
* Knowledge and experience in administering Active Directory and domain controllers.
* Experience in managing group policies.
* Experience with SonicWall and Palo Alto firewalls.
* Knowledge of storage solutions including Isilon, Vblock, VxRail, Data Domain, and Avamar.
* Strong soft skills, including effective communication, writing, and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
