Sr Project Manager:
Technical Project Manager (Integration/Data Stacks)
Location: Remote work
Duration: 12 Months +
Technical Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex data integration and application development projects. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and our engineering teams, ensuring that data pipelines, API integrations, and low-code solutions are built to specification and delivered on time.
The ideal candidate has a "hands-on" technical background—specifically in ETL (ADF/SSIS) and Modern Data Stacks (Fabric/Lakehouse)—and can speak the same language as developers while maintaining a high-level view of project health and organizational impact.
Key Responsibilities
Project Lifecycle Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data-centric projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical standards.
Integration Oversight: Manage the deployment of API-based integrations and automated workflows using platforms like Workato, Logic Apps, or Boomi.
Technical Roadmap & Documentation: Partner with engineering to draft technical design documents. Maintain project wikis, data lineage documentation, and GitHub repositories for project tracking.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate discovery sessions and "As-Is/To-Be" workshops to understand business challenges and document process requirements.
Agile Delivery: Manage backlogs, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups, utilizing tools like GitHub Enterprise for task management and version control.
Resource Governance: Oversee the configuration and settings for collaborative resources across SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams to ensure secure and organized project delivery.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all data management and reporting solutions (built-in Power BI) meet accuracy and performance benchmarks before deployment.
Technical Competencies
strong experience in Microsoft Fabric-Lakehouse, SQL Server (T-SQL), and ETL tools such as ADF and SSIS.
Integration & Low-Code: Understanding of API types (REST/SOAP) and low-code/no-code middleware (Workato, Informatica).
Development Knowledge: A solid grasp of software engineering practices, including CI/CD and familiarity with programming languages (Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript) and scripting (PowerShell/Bash).
Modern Web Stacks: Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Svelte) to better manage application development workstreams.
M365 Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of SharePoint/Teams APIs and administrative settings.
Professional Requirements
Education: Four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 2–4 years of related experience in technical project management or data engineering.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Leadership: Strong facilitation and meeting management skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams toward a common goal.
Preferred Skills
Experience with GitHub Project Management or GitHub Enterprise features.
Strong skills in Data Management and Reporting using Power BI.
Knowledge of Progress RDBMS or legacy system migrations.
