Job Description

We are seeking a Salesforce Test Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Salesforce testing, SQL-driven data validation, and test automation leadership and a proven ability to design and execute test strategies, build automation frameworks, and ensure quality across integrations and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Lead QA testing efforts for Salesforce implementations and enhancements.


• Design and implement test strategies, plans, and cases for Salesforce applications.


• Validate data between Salesforce and backend systems using SQL.


• Design and implement automation using Flows, Process Builder, and Apex.


• Develop and optimize SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and integrations.


• Automate business processes such as lead management, sales workflows, and approvals.


• Integrate Salesforce with external systems and databases.


• Maintain data integrity and ensure proper data flow across systems.


• Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce automation and data operation issues.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.


• Define automation frameworks and execution plans aligned with project goals.


• Work with development and product teams to define test scenarios and enable early validation.


• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD and ensure regression coverage.


• Review test scripts, enforce coding best practices, and mentor junior testers.


• Track test progress, manage defects, and report quality metrics.


• Ensure coverage for edge cases, performance, and system integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of software testing experience with a focus on automation.


• Strong experience testing applications on the Salesforce platform.


• Strong SQL skills for data validation and backend testing, including query optimization.


• Hands-on automation in Salesforce using Flows, Process Builder, and Apex.


• Experience automating lead management, sales workflows, and approvals.


• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems and databases while maintaining data integrity.


• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce automation and data issues.


• Ability to create or enhance automation frameworks from scratch.


• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI, version control with Git, and defect tracking with JIRA.


• Experience with test case design, defect management, and test reporting.


• Experience testing RESTful services and APIs, preferably using RestAssured.


• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or Fiddler is an advantage.


• Good understanding of Java and .NET web applications.


• Experience working in Agile methodology.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Availability to work full-time onsite in Chicago, TX.

Preferred Skills:

• API testing experience with tools such as Postman or Fiddler.


• Experience building test automation with RestAssured for RESTful services.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


• 6+ years of QA/testing experience with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.


• Hands-on experience testing Salesforce CRM applications.
