Genesis10 is currently seeking a Risk Business Analyst - Hybrid for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. We are looking for a seasoned Risk Business Analyst who is a self-starter, motivated, passionate, and thrives in a fast-paced culture. This role provides the opportunity to work across multiple lines of business in Global Technology with exposure to executive-level leadership. The ideal candidate will balance priorities, drive delivery, and execute flawlessly within a team environment.
Responsibilities: - Coordinate complex technical reviews conducted by internal audit and global compliance/operational risk teams
- Apply technical knowledge to understand and address audit questions, coordinate responses from technical subject matter experts, and manage engagement flow and timelines
- Work closely with subject matter experts and business partners to analyze engagement questions and review technical evidence
- Ensure complete and accurate responses, and execute review and analysis of identified control deficiencies
- Interface with all levels of the organization to ensure appropriate management involvement and awareness of risk and regulatory requirements
- Manually analyze unstructured data from multiple sources to identify key themes and impacts, translating them into clear, actionable executive-level reporting
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience with audit, exam management, and/or compliance (or similar experience)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/pivot tables, PowerPoint/presentations) and SharePoint (using and maintaining/editing)
- Proven Risk Leader with demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities and knowledge of risk management frameworks
- Ability to synthesize complex information into meaningful messaging to drive timely decisions
- Strong relationship management skills to navigate complexities, build consensus, and resolve conflicts
- Proven ability to manage multiple and often competing priorities in a global, fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, influencing key stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with an ability to review documentation for accuracy
- Knowledge of project management concepts
Desired skills: - Bachelor's and/or Master's degree
- CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM certification or similar
- Prior operational risk or compliance experience in the technology arena
- Detailed, bank-specific risk management and governance experience
- Cyber security or information security domain knowledge
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners
- Executive-level reporting experience in the risk management arena
Pay range: $36.18 - $44.18 per hour
