Experience creating and modifying SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages and jobs in Microsoft Visual Studio.
Overview
We are seeking two highly skilled Data Warehousing / ETL Consultants to support a critical data modernization initiative. These consultants will work closely with our internal data team to rewrite existing ETL/data movement code to load data from a new source system into existing data warehouse tables.
The ideal candidates are handson, seniorlevel practitioners with deep experience in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), advanced SQL development, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Preference will be given to candidates who can work onsite daily at our corporate headquarters in downtown Cincinnati.
Key Responsibilities
- Rewrite and refactor existing ETL/data movement logic to support new upstream data sources while preserving existing warehouse structures
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and performance tuning
- Build, modify, and maintain integrations using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) Data Integration module
- Develop and enhance SSIS packages and SQL Server Agent jobsusing Microsoft Visual Studio
- Analyze sourcetotarget mappings and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and performance
- Collaborate closely with internal data engineers, analysts, and architects in a teambased environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL failures, data quality issues, and performance bottlenecks
- Participate in code reviews and follow established development and deployment standards
Required Qualifications
- Extensive handson experience developing, executing, and optimizing complex SQL queries
- Strong, recent experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) specifically the Data Integration module
- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter alone will not be sufficient
- Proven experience creating and modifying SSIS packages and jobsin Microsoft Visual Studio
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL patterns, and relational database design
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability and willingness to work onsite fulltimein downtown Cincinnati
- Experience working in hybrid or onprem enterprise data environments
- Prior experience rewriting or modernizing legacy ETL pipelines
- Familiarity with SQL Server based data warehouse environments
