Summary

Network Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to join an Edge Networking team responsible for maintaining and integrating critical network infrastructure. This role offers a blend of high-level configuration and active, physical network support.

Work Arrangement & Location

Location: Cumberland County (Greater Harrisburg / Mechanicsburg / Central PA Area).
Residency: Candidates must currently reside within the Central PA area to be considered.
Work Style: Hybrid. Part-time telework is an option, combined with a structured office setting.
Schedule: Monday Friday, 08:00 16:30 (40 hours per week).

Key Skills & Qualifications

Network Routing & Switching: 3+ years of professional experience (Required).
Cisco CLI: Expert-level proficiency in command-line configuration.
SD-WAN: Hands-on experience with edge appliances (2+ years preferred).
Hardware Expertise: Installation and maintenance of routers, switches, wireless, and cellular-based appliances.
Certifications: CCNA is highly preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.
Tools: Experience with ServiceNow for ticketing and Visio for network diagramming.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work from a step ladder.
