Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented ETL Tester to validate data pipelines, ensure data integrity, and verify that data is accurately extracted, transformed, and loaded into target systems. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, and experience testing large-scale data systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL processes and data pipelines
Validate data extraction, transformation rules, and loading processes
Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation
Write complex SQL queries to verify data accuracy and completeness
Identify, log, and track defects and inconsistencies in data
Conduct data quality, data integrity, and regression testing
Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts
Validate data warehouse and data mart structures
Automate ETL testing processes where applicable
Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
2 5 years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing
Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, aggregations, stored procedures)
Good understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing
Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS)
Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL
Familiarity with testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
