Genesis10 is currently seeking a Windows Server Automation Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week required) with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This senior role is responsible for developing a next-generation, highly automated server-build environment, leveraging HashiCorp Packer and CI/CD pipelines to automate image creation and deployment. The ideal candidate will use their deep expertise in Windows Server OS, Ansible-driven configuration management, extensive PowerShell development, and modern DevOps tooling to gather requirements, design and test new service offerings, and transition them to operational support.
Responsibilities: - Develop a next-generation, highly automated server-build environment
- Leverage HashiCorp Packer and CI/CD pipelines to automate image creation and deployment
- Gather requirements, design, and test new service offerings
- Document solutions and transition them to operational support
Requirements: - Deep expertise in Windows Server OS components (2022/2025) and Windows server automation
- Experience with Ansible-driven configuration management
- Extensive PowerShell development experience
- Proficiency with modern DevOps tooling such as GIT, JIRA, and agile delivery frameworks
- Experience with the following technologies: RedHat Linux, HashiCorp Packer, Chocolatey, NuGet, Artifactory, and Microsoft Azure
- Strong proficiency with JSON-based web services
Desired skills: - Automation for large-scale cloud deployments
- VMware vRealize
- Linux scripting (bash/python)
- API development with tools like Swagger WebAPI
- Terraform
Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24 per hour
