Baer is looking for SAP Plant Maintenance Consultant for a 6+ month remote project.
Title: SAP Plant Maintenance Consultant
Location: Remote (10% possible travel to a plant site)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP PM Consultant to support the rollout of SAP Plant Maintenance Work Order Management across multiple plant locations.
Description

• Review and validate PM master data to ensure readiness for upload
• Upload SAP PM master data using Data Migration Cockpit
• Configure SAP Plant Maintenance components based on project scope
• Support testing phases (unit, integration, UAT) and document outcomes
• Develop and deliver virtual training sessions for end users
• Lead PM-related activities during cutover, go-live, and hypercare
• Collaborate with plant teams to ensure successful adoption of SAP PM processes
• Define approach for implementing Spare Parts functionality post rollout

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP PM configuration experience
• Experience with SAP Data Migration Cockpit for master data upload
• Strong knowledge of PM master data, work orders, and maintenance planning
• Experience integrating SAP PM with MM (spare parts, purchasing, inventory) and FI/CO (cost tracking, settlements)
• Familiarity with asset management practices such as RCM and TPM
• Understanding of manufacturing operations and plant environments
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA in industrial or manufacturing settings
• Proven experience in SAP rollouts, data migration, and testing cycles
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented with a structured and delivery-focused approach
• Exposure to SAP Service and Asset Manager mobile solutions is a plus
