SAP FPSL Consultant
Location: Multiple location in USA Hybrid/ Onsite/ Remote
Contract
We are looking for an experienced SAP FPSL Consultant with strong expertise in SAP financial transformation programs and subledger accounting architecture. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience implementing and supporting SAP FPSL solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA and financial accounting platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP FPSL solution design, implementation, and support activities
- Work closely with finance, accounting, actuarial, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and define solutions
- Configure and support SAP FPSL components including subledger accounting, posting logic, accounting rules, financial reconciliation, and data integration frameworks
- Support integration between SAP FPSL, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP PaPM, and other financial systems
- Participate in IFRS17 and financial transformation initiatives
- Perform impact analysis, functional specifications, testing, and defect resolution
- Support SIT, UAT, parallel runs, and production deployment activities
- Collaborate with technical and integration teams on interfaces, APIs, and data migration activities
- Provide production support and assist with financial close activities
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of SAP Finance experience with strong SAP FPSL exposure
- Hands-on implementation/support experience in SAP FPSL projects
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, subledger concepts, IFRS17, and reconciliation processes
- Experience integrating FPSL with SAP S/4HANA, SAP FI/CO, SAP BW/4HANA, and PaPM
- Strong understanding of SAP financial data models and accounting flows
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills:
- Insurance or Financial Services industry experience
- SAP Fioneer FPSL experience
- Exposure to SAP BTP and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- SAP certification preferred
