Job Description (What Client Is Looking For)
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PostgreSQL database design, administration, performance tuning, and data migration with proven experience supporting enterprise-scale applications in secure environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- 9 10 years of experience as a Database Administrator with focus on PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of logical database design, normalization, and schema management.
- Experience in SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and database partitioning.
- Experience supporting State or Federal government projects or large consulting clients
- Familiarity with AWS RDS / Cloud PostgreSQL environments is a plus.
- Experience with Linux environments, shell scripting, and monitoring tools (e.g., pgAdmin, Prometheus, Grafana).
