Summary

We are looking for a Senior Instructional Designer for our client in Washington, DC
Job Title: Senior Instructional Designer
Job Location: Washington, DC

Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor s degree in Communication, Instructional Design, Technology, Education, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an instructional designer, trainer, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning theory.
  • Experience designing instructor-led, eLearning, and multimedia training materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Experience:

  • Experience developing learning content across multiple platforms.
  • Experience conducting needs assessments, task analysis, and instructional analysis.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, eLearning, and multimedia training materials.
  • Create course design documents, outlines, presentations, lab exercises, and assessments.
  • Develop visually engaging learning content aligned with branding guidelines.
  • Conduct front-end analysis including needs assessment, content analysis, and task analysis.
  • Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories to enhance learning experiences.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Manage end-to-end instructional design projects, including status updates and quality reviews.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve learning products for accuracy and relevance.

Should Have:

  • Master s degree in Instructional Design (preferred).
  • Experience with tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe, and Adobe Premiere.
  • E-Learning Instructional Design Certification (upon hire).

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Graphic design and multimedia development skills.
