UI Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Jersey City, NJ that is seeking a Senior UI Developer for the squad that builds the web applications for Operations users and end customers. The candidate is expected to design and develop features, manage code reviews & deployments, and coordinate with various stakeholders for development.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience developing and maintaining applications written using modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue, React JS), Angular experience is preferred
* A solid, practical understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
* Proficiency using HTML and CSS, including an understanding of accessibility needs and cross-browser compatibility
* Experience working with Git/Version control
* Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner
* Ability to apply a long-term mentality to help produce scalable, maintainable solutions
* Experience developing user interfaces based on wireframes, visual designs and UX specifications
* Commitment to quality and high standards
* Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders
* Desire to learn and grow - to seek out ways to challenge yourself and expand your knowledge of both the business and the technology you work with
* Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
* Able to understand a complex and global systems environment
* Working knowledge of basic investment terms and practices is desirable

Experience with the following will be a plus:
* 5+ years of professional software development experience
* Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and driving automation
* Embrace customer-first mentality and enjoy developing user-friendly web applications that solve real life problems
* Understanding or familiarity with financial technology and the stock market

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
