Role Summary:

Job Title: Enterprise Application Support Engineer (L2/L3) – Treasury Technology (Armanta)
Location: Remote / Canada (Onshore) — ideally within or near Pacific Time zone to align with business hours, If you can find someone in Mississauga or GTA who is ok to work in PST will be good.

Typical support would involve :

Technical Operations	Functional Operations
Platform health & monitoring	Treasury risk support
Batch & ETL operations	Risk report validation
Production incident management	Credit Union user support
Data & integration support	Regulatory reporting assistance
Change & release management	Trader/business support
IBM vendor coordination	Functional issue resolution & UAT

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 application support: log analysis, incident triage/management, and performance and connectivity troubleshooting
Administer and support Linux/Unix environments, including Shell scripting
Support Java middleware application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, Jetty)
Troubleshoot and support SQL/MS SQL and MySQL databases
Monitor platform health, support batch and ETL processing
Participate in change and release management activities
Coordinate with vendor (IBM) as needed on platform issues
Support business/functional users during Canadian business hours, escalating and resolving production issues in a timely manner
Assist with UAT and functional validation of risk/regulatory reports as needed

Required Skills & Experience

Experience with Treasury/risk management systems, regulatory reporting, or capital markets applications
Exposure to Murex or similar treasury platforms
ETL/batch processing tools experience
6+ years in enterprise application support (L2/L3), ideally in banking/financial services or capital markets
Strong Linux/Unix administration and Shell scripting skills
Experience supporting Java-based middleware (Tomcat, JBoss, or Jetty)
Working knowledge of SQL troubleshooting and database support (MS SQL and/or MySQL)
Comfort working independently in a production support environment with incident-driven priorities
Strong communication skills for direct interaction with business/trading users
