This is a 3 months contract to hire position.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Techno-Functional Consultant with expertise in Java and VBA to support and enhance applications within the Defined Benefits (Pension) domain.

Key Responsibilities
Techno-Functional Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders, pension administrators, and SMEs to understand Defined Benefits processes and requirements.

Technical Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications using:
Java, JEE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot
Work on VBA-based Excel tools, including enhancement, maintenance, and transformation.
Convert and modernize VBA scripts into Java/JavaScript-based applications.
Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
Build and consume REST-based services where required.
Work in a DevOps environment with CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in:
Java, JEE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot
Strong hands-on experience with:
VBA and Excel-based solutions
JavaScript (JS)
3+ years of experience in SQL and Stored Procedures.
Experience working in CI/CD and DevOps environments.
Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock).
