Senior Systems Analyst Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX ( 3 days a week onsite)
Duration: 5 months with possibility of extension
About the job: We are seeking an experienced Data and Analytics Professional to support our enterprise health analytics reporting platform. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical solutions by analyzing user requirements, designing robust data pipelines, and developing comprehensive dashboards. You will work closely with stakeholders to automate processes, improve existing systems, and ensure our data solutions effectively meet core business needs.
Responsibilities: - Analyze business objectives and operational procedures to identify problems, propose alternative solutions, and perform cost/benefit analyses.
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and development steps required to modify or create internal systems.
- Review system capabilities and scheduling limitations to assess the technical feasibility of requested program changes.
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise data pipelines, dashboards, and reports using Informatica IICS, Tableau, and PowerBI.
- Participate in the testing of data pipelines and dashboards to ensure proper functionality before publishing and promoting reports to production.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather input and output requirements, including data summarization and report formatting.
Minimum qualifications - 8 years of experience creating dashboards and reports using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar business intelligence tools.
- 8 years of experience in Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) and data management utilizing Informatica.
Preferred qualifications - 4 years of experience working with very large-scale data sets in Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or similar databases.
- 4 years of experience conducting advanced data analysis to drive business decisions.
- 2 years of dedicated experience building dashboards and reports specifically in Tableau.
- 2 years of dedicated experience building dashboards and reports specifically in PowerBI.
- Advanced proficiency and hands-on experience with Informatica ETL tools.
- Strong preference for candidates with direct experience using Snowflake.
