Summary

  • We are seeing an experienced Project Coordinator to work within our client’s Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) in the Plans and Programs Office (PMO.) This is a 6-months contract role with a potential for extension.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired. Other relevant training or coursework in project coordination or administration is beneficial.
  • The Project Coordinator provides coordination, administrative, and logistical support within the Enterprise Project Management Office. This role focuses on supporting project activities, documentation, reporting, scheduling, and communication to ensure projects and community-related work progress smoothly and efficiently.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Basic understanding of project coordination practices within educational, public sector, or business environments.
  • Familiarity with culturally responsive and inclusive practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Forms
  • Adobe Acrobat and Forms
  • Ability to take clear notes, track action items, and follow up on assigned tasks.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow direction from project leadership.
  • One (1) to Three (3) years of experience in a project coordination, administrative support, or program support role.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in education, business, communications, public administration, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supporting meetings or events (in person and/or virtual) is desired.
  • Experience working in an educational, nonprofit, or public-sector environment is preferred but not required.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
