Genesis10 is currently seeking a Lead Information Security Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Chandler, AZ, or Las Colinas, TX. This is a 10+ month contract opportunity. In this role, you will lead complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Information Security Engineering. You will consult on, review, and analyze complex, multi-faceted, and larger-scale Information Security Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. This is a lead position for a candidate who can begin making an impact immediately within an Agile delivery framework.
Responsibilities: - Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Information Security Engineering
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Information Security Engineering challenges
- Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel
Requirements: - 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
- Solid background in Vulnerability Scanning
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid 7
- Experience with Jira working in an Agile delivery framework
- Experience with large-scale projects
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Understanding of CVE, CWE, and CVSS frameworks
Desired skills: - IoT/OT vulnerability scanning experience
- Experience with Python, API automation, or scripting
Pay range: $70.00 - $79.00 per Hour
