Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Mode: Hybrid (Thur to Wed Alternate weeks) 50% Onsite

Job Description:

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
1 3 years of Linux experience.
Deep understanding of Linux systems and strong core Unix skills.
Experience with Unix shell scripting.
Good working knowledge of build automation and CI/CD ecosystem including Git, Groovy, Kotlin, Gerrit, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Nexus, Artifactory, Selenium, and Python.
Experience supporting and troubleshooting modern development tools.
Test-driven mindset with experience in automation using development tools.
Comfortable facilitating training on enterprise tools and best practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently.

Preferred Skills:

Understanding of Cloud Native concepts such as 12-factor development.
Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, and Fabric.
Experience with application telemetry.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Experience supporting Java container-based applications is a plus.
Open-source or DevOps community involvement is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Enable adoption of DevOps best practices through administration and support of modern development tools.
Ensure availability and resilience of development tools used for application delivery across environments.
Drive DevOps culture adoption across the enterprise through coaching and team engagement.
