Role: Fortinet Architect / L3 SME

Position Overview
We are seeking a Fortinet Architect and L3 Subject Matter Expert to serve as the technical authority for enterprise and telecom security solutions. This role involves designing and implementing target-state architectures for SD-WAN, SASE, and NGFW across on-prem and hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure). You will drive transformation roadmaps, provide top-tier escalation support, and ensure alignment with Zero Trust frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Architectural Leadership: Define target-state architectures, migration strategies, and transformation roadmaps for Fortinet-based security.
* Security Fabric Deployment: Design and manage FortiGate NGFW, Secure SD-WAN, and SASE solutions, including Hub-and-Spoke and MPLS/LTE connectivity.
* L3/L4 Escalation: Provide expert-level support for complex security incidents, performance degradation, and hybrid cloud integration issues.
* Platform Administration: Operate and administer FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer platforms for centralized management and logging.
* Governance & Compliance: Drive environment hardening and standardization aligned with Zero Trust, segmentation, and secure access models.
* Documentation: Create High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents, runbooks, and SOPs for delivery teams.
* Technical Integration: Integrate Fortinet platforms with SOC, SIEM, and SOAR workflows.
Required Qualifications
* Expertise: Deep hands-on experience as a Technical Authority in large enterprise or telecom network environments.
* Fortinet Mastery: Advanced knowledge of FortiGate, SD-WAN, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
* Cloud Security: Experience with SASE architectures and Fortinet integrations within AWS and Azure.
* Networking Fundamentals: Strong routing/switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF, VLAN) and WAN/Wi-Fi fundamentals.
* Consultative Skills: Ability to lead technical workshops and serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders.
