Marvin is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, ERP to lead the design, development, support, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) solutions. This role serves as a senior technical contributor responsible for solution architecture, custom development, integrations, application support, and release delivery. Working closely with analysts, project managers, QA resources, platform administrators, and business stakeholders, this position helps ensure ERP solutions are scalable, stable, and aligned with business needs.

The ideal candidate combines deep D365 F&O development expertise with strong technical leadership and a passion for continuous improvement. Experience with X++, Azure DevOps, enterprise integrations, ALM practices, and mentoring other developers will help distinguish an exceptional candidate for this role.

Highlights of your role

  • Design, develop, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions using X++, extensions, and related technologies.

  • Lead technical design, architecture, and implementation of complex ERP enhancements, customizations, and integrations.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and upgrade-safe solutions across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, and related ERP modules.

  • Establish and promote engineering standards, coding best practices, documentation requirements, and solution governance.

  • Serve as a senior escalation resource while troubleshooting complex application, integration, and production issues while improving system reliability, performance, and maintainability.

  • Lead application lifecycle management activities including Azure DevOps, PPAC, source control, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and release readiness.

  • Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across projects, support activities, and strategic ERP initiatives.

  • Drive continuous improvement efforts through technical debt reduction, process enhancements, and evaluation of new Microsoft platform capabilities.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise ERP or business application solutions.

  • 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations development experience.

  • Strong expertise in X++, D365 F&O architecture and extensibility, integrations, data entities, DMF, OData, batch processing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, source control, CI/CD pipelines, release management, SDLC/ALM practices, and technical leadership of complex engineering initiatives.

Also want to make sure you have

  • Experience serving as a Technical Lead, Senior Developer, or Solution Architect on enterprise ERP initiatives.

  • Experience with Power Platform technologies including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and custom connectors.

  • Experience designing and supporting enterprise integrations, APIs, middleware platforms, and system-to-system data flows.

  • Knowledge of Azure services supporting integrations, automation, cloud modernization, ERP upgrades, or large-scale implementations.

  • Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MB-500, MB-300, AZ-204, or PL-400.

  • Experience supporting data migrations, conversions, and large-scale data operations within D365 F&O.
