We completed screening of all resumes and for the candidates we spoke to we found that although they have relevant SAP experience, they did not demonstrated the depth of ECC-to-S/4HANA migration, custom code remediation, and upgrade/conversion expertise required for the additional activities we are planning.

This role requires strong experience in SAP ABAP and capable of translating business requirements into technical solutions, drafting technical specifications, conducting design reviews, and ensuring successful project delivery . At high level below are key responsibilities :

Technical Leadership

Lead SAP ABAP and S/4HANA development activities across project lifecycles.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
Establish development standards, best practices, and code governance processes.
Review technical designs, custom developments, integrations, and enhancements.
Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with quality, security, and performance standards.

Solution Design & Architecture

Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Draft and review:

Technical Design Documents (TDDs)
Functional-to-Technical Specifications
Integration Specifications
Data Conversion Specifications
RICEFW Objects

Ensure solutions align with SAP S/4HANA, Clean Core, and extensibility principles.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Functional Leads, and Integration teams

SAP Development

Design and develop solutions using:

Advanced ABAP
Object-Oriented ABAP
OData Services
RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
Enhancements & BAdIs
Fiori/UI5

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and bottlenecks
