DUTIES As a successful candidate for the Software Engineer I role, you will serve as a DevOps & Site Reliability Software Developer to join our full-stack AI integration software development team. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver at heart, with a passion for learning and adapting to new technologies. You will work in a collaborative environment, focusing on improving our infrastructure, automating processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our AI-driven applications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a developer who is eager to learn and grow in the fields of DevOps, site reliability engineering, and AI integration. Required Skills

SKILLS

Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines

Collaborate with development teams to improve code deployment processes and application performance

Help monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance reliability

Participate in rotations to support our production environments

Contribute to the development of infrastructure-as-code and automation scripts

Assist in capacity planning and performance optimization of our AI-driven applications

Collaborate on documentation of processes, runbooks, and best practices

Actively participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions

QUALIFICATIONS Three (3) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity are required. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Additional requirements:

Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting

Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git

Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript)

Understanding of fundamental DevOps concepts and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment

Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

Desired Skills

NICE-TO-HAVES

Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or Chef)

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

Basic understanding of database systems and SQL

Knowledge of security best practices in software development and infrastructure

Experience with or interest in machine learning and AI technologies

Contributions to open-source projects or personal coding projects demonstrating initiative and passion for technology
