Job Title: Cloud Migration Lead – Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Location- Remote

Job Summary:
The Cloud Migration Lead – Identity and Access Management (IAM) is responsible for leading IAM strategy and implementation during cloud migration initiatives. This role ensures secure identity governance, access control, and authentication mechanisms while transitioning applications and infrastructure to cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead IAM planning and implementation for cloud migration projects.
Design and implement identity and access management solutions across cloud platforms.
Manage user identity lifecycle, authentication, authorization, and access policies.
Integrate IAM solutions with enterprise systems, applications, and cloud services.
Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams during migration.
Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and privileged access management (PAM).
Monitor IAM systems for security threats and perform risk assessments.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to IAM and cloud teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
7+ years of experience in IAM, cybersecurity, or cloud security.
Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of IAM tools and technologies (Okta, Azure AD, SailPoint, Ping Identity, etc.).
Experience with SSO, MFA, OAuth, SAML, and identity federation.
Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards.
Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AWS Security, Azure Security Engineer, or IAM-related certifications.
Experience leading cloud transformation or migration projects.
Knowledge of Zero Trust security models and identity governance.
