Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our development team in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, along with hands-on experience building scalable enterprise applications. Candidates must be available for an in-person (F2F) interview.

Required Skills:

7+ years of experience in Java development
Strong experience with Java 8+
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices
Experience in RESTful API development
Good knowledge of SQL / relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Apache Kafka or messaging systems
Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes
Experience with JUnit / Mockito for unit testing

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications
Build and consume REST APIs and microservices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product teams
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code
Troubleshoot and debug applications
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
