Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Category Intelligence Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and build interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports using Power BI, with a focus on key category insights, market performance, and consumer behavior trends. Regularly update and maintain dashboards to reflect new data and business needs
* Develop visually engaging reports and dashboards that present data clearly and effectively
* Prioritize ease of use, intuitive design, and the application of best practices in Power BI visualizations
* Work closely with internal data teams to integrate data from various sources (e.g., sales data, consumer insights, POS data) into Power BI. Perform necessary data cleaning, transformation, and modeling to ensure data quality and consistency
* Provide training and support to business users on how to navigate and interpret Power BI reports and dashboards
* Act as a subject matter expert in Power BI within the organization
* Stay up to date with the latest features and best practices in Power BI, data visualization, and category management analysis
* Continuously improve dashboard functionality, design, and user experience based on feedback from stakeholders
* Document processes, data sources, and dashboard specifications to ensure clarity and consistency
* Share insights and best practices with the wider team

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
* 2+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or category intelligence with a strong focus on Power BI dashboard development and reporting
* Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query for data transformation, modeling, and visualization
* Strong understanding of data integration from various sources (e.g., Excel, SQL, Databricks, ERP systems, CRM systems)
* Solid experience in building intuitive, impactful, and easy-to-navigate dashboards and reports
* Experience working with category management, market analysis, or consumer insights
* Familiarity with CPG or beverage industry-specific metrics such as sales performance, market share, and consumer segmentation is a plus
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
* A keen eye for clean, effective design and the ability to present complex data in an easy-to-understand format
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various business units and explain complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
* Experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or beverage industry is a plus, as familiarity with category-specific trends, metrics, and KPIs will enhance the speed and relevance of insights

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
