RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Maryland Heights, MO.
Summary:
This role will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, architects, project managers, and technical teams to gather requirements, document business needs, define process flows, and support successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for technology projects
* Create clear and detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that can be used by project managers, architects, business stakeholders, and technical teams
* Partner with architects after project kickoff meetings to understand scope, objectives, system impacts, and business outcomes
* Translate technical direction, architectural input, and business needs into structured documentation
* Build process flows that show how systems, teams, and business processes interact
* Document current state, future state, business processes, system impacts, and the purpose behind requested changes
* Serve as the Business Systems Analyst point of contact for questions related to requirements, process, scope, and project details
* Work closely with project managers, architects, business stakeholders, and development teams to keep requirements and open questions moving forward
* Identify, document, report, and track system issues, gaps, and project risks as needed
* Support ongoing maintenance and enhancement of internal business tools, dashboards, portals, or operational systems
* Navigate changing priorities, ambiguous direction, and demanding stakeholder environments with professionalism and ownership
REQUIREMENTS:
* 10+ years of Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst experience
* The ideal candidate is a seasoned Business Systems Analyst with strong experience creating business requirements documentation, working through ambiguity, partnering with technical teams, and translating high-level project direction into clear, usable requirements
* Power Platform experience is helpful, but this is not a Power Apps Developer role
* The primary need is a strong core BSA who can own requirements, documentation, stakeholder communication, and process analysis
* Strong experience creating BRDs, business requirements, functional requirements, and process documentation
* Proven ability to gather requirements and translate high-level project direction into clear, actionable documentation
* Experience working directly with architects, project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams
* Strong process flow documentation experience
* Ability to understand system interactions, business workflows, and technology impacts
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to serve as the -voice- of the BA work when stakeholders have questions about requirements, process, or scope
* Strong ownership, organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
* Comfortable working in an Agile, SDLC, or project-based technology environment
* Ability to work through ambiguity, shifting priorities, and complex stakeholder expectations
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Lists, or Power BI
* Jira experience or exposure to project tracking tools
* Excel and reporting experience
* Experience supporting or maintaining internal business tools, dashboards, portals, or operational applications
* Telecom, cable, ordering systems, billing, or large enterprise technology experience
* Prior experience in a highly matrixed enterprise environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
