Warranty Prior Approval Analyst for a temporary opportunity supporting automotive warranty operations. This role is ideal for candidates with automotive repair, diagnostics, service advisor, or warranty administration experience who enjoy problem-solving, analyzing repair information, and working directly with dealership service teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate warranty prior approval requests for vehicle interior and exterior repairs
- Communicate with dealership service managers, service advisors, and technicians via phone and online systems
- Provide accurate, timely, and professional guidance on warranty coverage and repair authorization decisions
- Research technical repair information and assist in resolving dealer concerns
- Prepare and distribute service communications and documentation
- Ensure all warranty determinations comply with established warranty policies and procedures
- Maintain detailed records and provide exceptional customer support to dealership personnel
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Hands-on automotive diagnostic and repair experience preferred
- Service writer, service advisor, warranty administration, or dealership experience preferred
- ASE Certifications strongly preferred
- Strong computer, data entry, and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions based on policy guidelines
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
