Summary

Description

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to drive payment-focused product delivery within the financial services sector in San Antonio, Texas. This role blends strategic product ownership with hands-on execution across complex platform capabilities, helping shape solutions that support banking and transaction-based experiences. The ideal candidate brings strong technical product judgment, thrives in Agile environments, and can translate business needs into well-defined deliverables for engineering and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities:
Lead product delivery for payment-related capabilities, including areas such as core banking connectivity, loan and debt repayment functionality, and card transaction features.
Own and prioritize the product backlog for transaction-processing initiatives, ensuring work is clearly defined and aligned with business goals and technical feasibility.
Translate high-level objectives into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that enable efficient execution by engineering teams.
Partner closely with architects, developers, program leaders, and other stakeholders to move product initiatives from concept through release.
Guide the development of technical product components such as APIs, SDK-enabled capabilities, user interfaces, or white-label solutions for financial institutions and credit unions.
Evaluate and incorporate third-party platforms or SaaS providers when they strengthen product capability, scalability, or speed to market.
Produce detailed product and technical documentation that supports implementation, operational clarity, and long-term platform evolution.
Use market analysis, competitive intelligence, and user feedback to identify pain points and refine the roadmap.
Communicate the value and impact of new features to internal teams, including customer-facing and go-to-market partners.
Travel domestically on a quarterly basis for meetings with headquarters, customers, or industry events as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
At least 6 years of product delivery experience within payments-focused environments, including exposure to banking, lending repayment, debt servicing, or card processing.
At least 6 years of experience in one or more of the following: API or SDK product delivery for financial institutions, digital interface or white-label product delivery for financial institutions, or B2B SaaS product management.
Demonstrated experience working with scalable, resilient, and high-availability platform products, ideally in banking or transaction-heavy systems.
Strong command of core product management practices, including backlog ownership, requirements development, user story creation, and acceptance criteria definition.
Experience integrating external service providers or SaaS solutions into a broader product ecosystem.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to make sound, data-informed decisions.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically on a quarterly basis.
