Seeking a Security Specialist to plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures for the protection of internal data, systems, and networks.
Duration: Contract through 6-30-26, with extension(s)
Location: Columbus, OH (onsite) (candidates must reside within the state of Ohio)
Interviews: All interviews will be onsite.
Duties:
-Responding to all system and/or network security breaches.
-Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities
-Evaluating the organization s security needs and establishing best practices and standards accordingly
-Taking appropriate security measures to ensure that DRC s infrastructure and existing data are kept safe
-Perform scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability scans across networks, servers and endpoints.
-Analyze scan results, validate findings, and prioritize remediation based on risk and exploitability
-Partner with IT team and application teams to coordinate remediation and verify fixes
-Tune scans and reduce false positives to improve data accuracy
-Develop vulnerability metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reports
-Conducting testing and scans to identify any vulnerabilities in the network and system.
Skill required/desired amount of experience:
-Exp. with network security and threat detection-required-12 yrs
-Experience with incident response and vulnerability management-required-12yrs
-Exp. administering Qualys-Required-12-yrs
-Exp with remediation documentation and patch management processes-required-12yrs
-4yr college degree-highly desired
-CISSP Certification-highly desired
