D365 Business Central Analyst

Vaco is working with a rapidly growing manufacturing organization that is investing heavily in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) as its long-term ERP platform.

This is a high-impact, ground-floor role where you’ll take ownership of BC in a build-as-you-go environment, supporting ongoing system and process development across manufacturing operations.

Why This Role Exists

• Transitioning from third-party consultants to internal ERP ownership
• First key functional BC hire (technical hire to follow)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead BC module implementations (manufacturing, inventory, warehouse)
• Partner directly with shop floor, warehouse, and operations teams
• Configure and optimize production workflows, inventory, and warehouse processes
• Support scanning and shop floor tools
• Act as a functional SME, business analyst, and liaison to developers
• Own documentation, training, and long-term system adoption

Ideal Background

• 7+ years of hands-on D365 Business Central experience
• Manufacturing environment experience required
• Strong in requirements gathering, process improvement, and translating business needs to technical teams
• Comfortable in fast-moving, evolving environments

Work Environment

• Highly hands-on and operational
• Embedded with manufacturing and warehouse teams
• On-site 4–5 days/week (non-negotiable)

Compensation

• Base salary ~$130K–$145K (flexible for strong candidates)
• Bonus eligible
