Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Operations / Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Android-based device operations, live service monitoring, telemetry analysis, and release validation and a proven ability to triage live issues, improve reliability, and support on-site prototype device workflows.
Top 3 must have skills:
1. **Software engineering, DevOps, SRE, or production operations experience** - 5+ years
2. **Monitoring, telemetry analysis, logging, and live issue troubleshooting** - 3+ years
3. **Ability to independently drive technical work and deliver operational value** - 3+ years
Responsibilities:
- Monitor telemetry dashboards, alerts, logs, and metrics to assess operational health across services and prototype devices.
- Investigate anomalies and live issues, gather device and service logs, and assign or track bugs to resolution.
- Support software releases by validating deployments, monitoring stability, and documenting post-release findings.
- Provide on-site device support, including configuration, smoke checks, and readiness verification during self-host.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in operations, SRE, DevOps, or production support with Android or mobile OS environments.
- Proficiency with dashboards, alerts, logs, and telemetry to diagnose system health and troubleshoot issues.
- Demonstrated ability to validate releases, monitor rollouts, and support incident response.
- Clear communication, concise documentation, and the ability to work independently on-site.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD workflows, incident reviews, and reliability improvements.
- Background collaborating with software engineering, QA, infrastructure, and PM teams in Agile environments.
