Role Summary:

• We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer to support and enhance critical enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in COBOL, DB2, and JCL, along with solid exposure to mainframe tools and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, maintain, and debug COBOL, DB2, and JCL code
• Perform query optimization and performance tuning
• Analyze and resolve production issues
• Collaborate with business and technical teams across the SDLC

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with COBOL, DB2, and JCL
• Strong working knowledge of mainframe tools such as Changeman and File Manager
• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
• Good understanding of batch and online processing in a mainframe environment
• Nice to Have:
• Experience in financial services / banking
• Exposure to production support and release management
