Job Summary:
We are looking for an Oracle GoldenGate DBA to manage, monitor, and support Oracle GoldenGate environments for real-time data replication. The ideal candidate should have experience with Oracle databases, replication setup, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle GoldenGate.
Set up and maintain Oracle GoldenGate Extract, Pump, and Replicat processes.
Monitor replication and resolve replication issues.
Troubleshoot data synchronization and performance problems.
Support Oracle database administration activities related to GoldenGate.
Perform health checks and monitor replication latency.
Work with application and database teams during deployments and migrations.
Maintain documentation and follow operational procedures.
Required Skills:
Experience with Oracle GoldenGate administration.
Good knowledge of Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c or later).
Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with GoldenGate upgrades and migrations.
Familiarity with shell scripting.
Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery concepts.
