Responsibilities
- Conduct requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation in support of Data Administration initiatives across multiple business domains.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and supporting documentation for project teams.
- Provide project coordination support across Data Administration projects, including tracking tasks, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Maintain project schedules, action item logs, decision records, risk and issue trackers, and other coordination artifacts to support delivery on plan.
- Coordinate meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder reviews; capture agendas, decisions, action items, and follow-ups and drive them to closure.
- Support project status reporting, including preparation of weekly status reports, executive updates, and presentations to Government leads and stakeholders.
- Support the design and improvement of UI/UX for Data Administration tools, dashboards, and applications, including front-end designs delivered using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Blazor.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and user flows; gather stakeholder feedback and iterate on designs to deliver intuitive, accessible, and standards-aligned user interfaces.
- Support usability testing, accessibility considerations, and user feedback collection for Data Administration applications and tools.
- Partner with database engineers, developers, and architects to ensure requirements and UI/UX designs align with the underlying data models, business logic, and architectural standards.
- Support data analysis activities to identify quality, consistency, and usability issues across enterprise datasets and inform requirements and design decisions.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across SSA components, moving fluidly between analysis, coordination, and design responsibilities.
- Maintain project and analysis documentation in Confluence, SharePoint, and other approved collaboration tools.
- Develop technical and project documents, presentations, and weekly status reports to fulfill work order objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field; Associate's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience as a Business Systems Analyst, IT Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or comparable analyst/coordinator role on enterprise IT initiatives.
- Strong experience eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
- Strong experience translating business needs into user stories, process flows, wireframes, and other artifacts used by development teams.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating IT projects, including managing schedules, milestones, action items, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder commitments.
- Experience supporting UI/UX design activities, including wireframes, mockups, user flows, usability considerations, and accessibility practices.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Blazor in a design or analyst capacity.
- Experience facilitating meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder reviews across business and technical audiences.
- Experience supporting status reporting, executive communications, and project documentation in a federal or large enterprise environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Confluence, and SharePoint.
- Experience with project tracking, workflow, and work management tools such as Jira and ServiceNow preferred.
- Familiarity with Data Administration concepts such as enterprise data standards, data modeling, and reference data preferred.
- Strong technical writing, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively across business, technical, and design audiences.
- Ability to operate effectively in a blended analyst, coordinator, and UI/UX design capacity, moving fluidly between responsibilities.
- Familiarity with federal IT environments preferred.
