Immediate need for a talented Customer Service Representative. This is a 04+ months contract , with potential for project extension (and/or opportunity to convert to full time with client) opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Batesville, IN (Hybrid). Pay Range: $28 - $28.99/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inbound customer support and order processing role.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for handling inbound calls, processing sales orders, and supporting customer inquiries.
  • The call center operates between 8:00 AM 6:00 PM.
  • Training schedule will be 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
  • Responds to telephones, fax, and web product and service orders, obtains usage and inputs sales order data and/or product service calls into order fulfillment system.
  • Resolves routine and some non-routine customer questions, complaints, and requests. 3. Investigates problems related to shipment of products, credits, and new orders.
  • Through the ordering process obtains information on the amount, type, and stock on hand. May also expedite orders, and initiate action to replenish stock.
  • May setup new accounts, maintain other records, prepare required reports.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Must have skills: -Customer service
  • Customer support
  • Strong customer service and order entry experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • Experience with ERP systems is preferred, specifically JD Edwards.
  • Must possess a high level of professionalism, communication skills, and accuracy in processing orders.
