Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Enterprise Hardware Processing Technician to support our IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) operations. This role involves de-racking enterprise servers, wiping hard drives using industry-standard data erasure software, and sorting memory and other valuable components from enterprise IT equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Safely de-rack servers and other enterprise hardware in compliance with EHS protocols.
Use software tools to securely wipe data from hard drives in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
Identify, sort, and categorize memory and other reusable components for inventory and resale.
Inspect equipment for physical damage and report discrepancies or missing components.
Maintain accurate records of equipment processed and data erasure logs.
Lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Ensure all workspaces are kept clean and organized according to safety guidelines.
Qualifications
Basic understanding of enterprise IT hardware (servers, drives, memory modules, etc.).
Familiarity with data erasure software and ITAD processes is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle equipment safely.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Positive attitude, team-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies.
Basic computer literacy and ability to follow structured workflows.
