Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Financial Functional Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials, particularly Accounts Payable (AP). The consultant will be responsible for supporting financial business processes, configuration, issue resolution, testing, requirements gathering, and coordination with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support and enhancements for Oracle EBS Financial modules, with primary focus on Accounts Payable (AP).
• Configure and support AP functionality including suppliers, payment terms, payment processing, invoices, holds, payment methods, and operating units.
• Work on AP, GL, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, P2P, and related financial modules.
• Gather business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and translate requirements into functional solutions.
• Prepare functional documentation including BR100, MD50, TE40, functional specifications, test cases, and user documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with technical teams and Oracle Support as required.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close activities, including AP and GL-related processes.
• Participate in system integration, unit testing, SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
• Support interfaces and integrations between Oracle EBS and third-party applications.
• Work closely with business users, developers, QA teams, project managers, and other functional teams.
• Provide user support, training, and knowledge transfer for Oracle Financial applications.
• Participate in Oracle EBS implementation, upgrade, enhancement, and production support projects.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Oracle Financial Functional consulting.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Financials.
• Strong Accounts Payable (AP) functional experience is mandatory.
• Experience with General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and P2P.
• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
• Experience with AP configuration, invoice processing, supplier setup, payment processing, payment terms, payment methods, and AP holds.
• Experience in production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Experience gathering requirements and preparing functional documentation.
• Strong experience with UAT, SIT, functional testing, and defect management.
• Experience working with business users and technical/development teams.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
