Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer to lead the transformation of testing across a complex FinTech communications ecosystem, encompassing voice, telephony, unified communications, and electronic communications platforms. This role is central to a multi-year strategic initiative to transition from manual validation processes to a scalable, automation-first testing model. The successful candidate will design and implement enterprise-grade automation frameworks and advise on designing systems optimized for automated validation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks supporting a large and diverse application ecosystem.
  • Define bespoke automation approaches aligned to system architecture, integration complexity, and risk profiles.
  • Integrate vendor-supplied automation tools with enterprise-standard solutions.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend low-code/no-code and AI-assisted automation platforms.
  • Implement automation solutions for certification of new software releases and post-upgrade validation.
  • Ensure comprehensive validation across UI/visual workflows, APIs, system integrations, and voice communication flows.
  • Support the transition from manual testing to automation-first validation models.
  • Establish standardized testing practices enabling continuous validation within CI/CD pipelines.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks in complex enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Rest-Assured, Cucumber, or Postman.
  • Strong programming proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Proven ability to define and implement risk-based test coverage strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience reducing manual testing dependency through automation at scale.
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in FinTech, financial markets, or regulated environments.
  • Exposure to voice and telephony systems (e.g., VoIP, SIP, call recording, or unified communications platforms).
  • Experience validating real-time communications workflows and audio-based interactions.
  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code test automation platforms and AI-assisted testing tools.
  • Knowledge of compliance-driven testing and audit-defensible validation practices.
