ROLE: Oracle EDI Consultant - Automotive B2B Integration

DETAILS
seeking an experienced Oracle EDI Consultant to lead the design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support of inbound and outbound EDI/B2B integrations for a global automotive Tier 1 supplier implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud. The consultant will work with OEM customers, suppliers, logistics providers, business teams, and technical teams to enable reliable and scalable electronic exchange of releases, purchase orders, forecasts, shipment notices, invoices, acknowledgments, inventory information, and other automotive transactions. This role requires hands-on expertise with Oracle Fusion Collaboration Messaging Framework, Oracle Integration Cloud, EDI standards, trading-partner onboarding, and automotive release-management processes.
OTHER NOTABLE SKILLS:
• 10+ years of EDI, B2B integration, or enterprise application-integration experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM, Procurement, Order Management, Collaboration Messaging, Oracle B2B, or Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Strong hands-on experience with ANSI X12 and/or EDIFACT message standards.
• Experience with automotive transactions such as 830, 850, 855, 856, 810, 862, 824, 997, 940, and 945.
• Hands-on experience with EDI mapping, transformation, validation, error handling, partner onboarding, and production support.
• Knowledge of EDI connectivity and security practices, including AS2, SFTP, REST APIs, SOAP web services, certificates, encryption, and authentication.
• Understanding of integration patterns involving Oracle Order Management, Procurement, Inventory, Shipping, WMS, Manufacturing, and Financials.
• Required automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience, including OEM-specific EDI requirements.
• Experience with EDI platforms such as OpenText/GXS, IBM Sterling, Cleo, SPS Commerce, Seeburger, TrueCommerce, or similar products.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% within the United States.
• Oracle Integration Cloud certification or practical OIC implementation experience is preferred.
• Experience with automotive releases, shipping schedules, CUM processes, ASNs, labels, and OEM shipment compliance is preferred.
