Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery teams within its Mortgage Technology organization. This role will work a hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite per week.

Summary:
This individual will serve as a servant leader, Agile coach, and facilitator, helping development teams mature their Agile practices while driving successful delivery of technology initiatives. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled Scrum Master with deep Agile expertise, strong coaching abilities, and experience guiding teams through Agile transformation. This role will work with teams that are relatively new to Agile methodologies and will play a critical role in advancing Agile maturity across the organization.

Responsibilities:
* Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile software development teams
* Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions
* Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and SAFe methodologies
* Help teams remain focused on delivering planned business value and achieving sprint and program objectives
* Guide teams toward greater self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement
* Assess Agile maturity and implement coaching strategies that advance team effectiveness and Agile adoption
* Identify, manage, and remove impediments that impact team productivity and delivery
* Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, trust, and continuous improvement
* Facilitate discussions, decision-making sessions, and conflict resolution when needed
* Partner with Product Owners to support backlog management, prioritization, estimation, and forecasting activities
* Coordinate dependencies and communication across development teams, DevOps, shared services, and other Scrum Masters

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
* 6+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile delivery leader supporting software development teams
* Strong knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum frameworks, and Agile coaching methodologies
* Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and guiding teams through Agile transformations
* Hands-on experience with Jira
* Experience communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Strong facilitation, collaboration, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), or equivalent Scrum certification
* SAFe Practitioner, Advanced Scrum Master, or other Agile certifications
* Experience working in banking, financial services, mortgage lending, or mortgage origination environments
* Experience coaching teams that are early in their Agile adoption journey
* Knowledge of additional Agile frameworks and methodologies, including Kanban, XP, Lean, or related practices
* Experience supporting large enterprise technology organizations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
